Whenever we had special meals growing up, my mom would get out her Blue Willow and Delft Blue dishes. Even the names are pretty, aren’t they? The blue designs on the plates and bowls will always remind me of special moments around the table as a family. Isn’t it interesting how objects get imbued with meaning as they are used and loved? The stories and histories becoming intertwined.

Happy April friends. The first crocuses and daffodils are blooming in my garden. May this blue explosion of flowers inspire you to pause and relish the spring time and also reflect on springs of your past.
