July 2022 Free Wallpaper
About this time of year, we start scoping out all the berry picking sites we can find. (We actually getting ready to go check a cherry tree as soon as I post this desktop!) Berry-stained fingers are a sign of the season. I have been reminiscing a lot recently, not something I usually do being someone who is solidly stuck in the moment. But something about this time of year brings back memories of running my grandparents firework stand as a kid, the feel of early July mornings before the heat hits, the sound of box fans in the windows, and the taste of fresh berries from the garden.
In our yard, we have a little strawberry patch. My kids check the berries daily and they disappear faster than they can ripen. That is my hope for July, that we pay attention and savor the fleeting flavors.
