Happy April friends!

All I want to do right now is go dig in my garden. It rained this afternoon (which is a rarity where we live in the very dry high plains), and it has made everything smell like spring - wet dirt, new growth, and fresh air. The first thing we did when we moved to this house 6 years ago was to build a couple of raised garden beds (priorities). But apparently, 6 years is the lifespan of wood for garden beds and so I am in process of removing the old rotten boards, piling the dirt, and planning for several new (and hopefully improved) garden boxes. I probably won’t get them built in time for spring planting, but I can still dream about all the flowers and veggies that I will someday grow. My plan is to spend more of this month outside than indoors, digging in the dirt and soaking in the sunshine. Hopefully you can do the same,
