Hello Friends!

This morning my girls, along with their neighbor friend, are busily delivering May Day baskets. It’s an old family tradition that not many people celebrate any more. But, our family makes cone-shaped paper baskets and fill them with flowers and candy and then we sneakily hang them from neighbors door knobs. It’s a lovely way to start the month and celebrate the arrival of spring.

Here in Colorado, we have had a chilly, slow start to the season, so this last week, which was full of warm sunny days, sent us all out into the garden and yard happily digging in the dirt and picking the early wildflowers. My daughter, Lucy, and I worked on this design together. We wanted to create something GREEN and full of spring color. Both of us love the intensity of this bright yellow green. Enjoy!
