After a long, but fun, Halloween weekend, I came down to breakfast this morning to Tim playing the first of our Spotify Thanksgiving mixes. And I will be honest, it felt like new breath of fresh air. After all of the candy, and spooks, and creepy, there is something so centering about November. In some ways, it feels so beautifully simple. We gather together.

Tim and I have a plan to have “old fashioned week” before Thanksgiving this year, where we put away our electronics, drive less, and lean into all things “slow-time” - baking bread, taking walks, playing board games, etc.

For this wallpaper, I took several different antique artist sketches and put them together to fade from the autumn colors we are still seeing now to the quiet of tones of winter. I am praying that you can find moments of solitude, quiet, and breath this month.
